Retro Rugby League is a celebration of the greatest game of all from the 1950s when Clive Churchill dominated the League, through the 1960s which highlighted the deeds of the champion St George and South Sydney teams, to the heady days of the 1970s when the toughness of the NSWRL premiership catapulted Australian Rugby League to the very top of the international rankings.

This unique book showcases the very best players, the characters, the great matches and the memorable Test series. Relive all of the action and controversy with glorious black and white, sepia and rare colour photos, many of which have not been published since the years they were first taken. The golden era of rugby league comes alive again with more than 300 pages of wonderful moments in one beautiful hardcover book.

A beautifully presented, padded, hardback edition of an expertly researched book for every Rugby League fan. The perfect gift for fans old and new, who want to see where the game came from as it continues to catapult.
