Revised and Updated

Almost 2,500 people have played in Test cricket, from the inaugural Test in March 1877 to today.

To reduce this list to the best 100 worldwide, is an imposing task, but it is also one that is guaranteed to provide an argument amongst those with an eye for the game's history and its greatest players.

Geoff Armstrong has updated his bestselling book to reflect changes since its first successful release.

Geoff Armstrong

Geoff Armstrong has worked as writer, editor or publisher on more than 70 sports related books over 30 of them on cricket alone. Between 1993 and 2005, he collaborated with Steve Waugh on each of Steve 12 best-selling books, including Steve autobiography Out Of My Comfort Zone. Geoff is the author of A Century of Summers, the centenary history of the Sheffield Shield (featuring an epilogue by Sir Donald Bradman), and ESPN Legends of Cricket, which profiled 25 of the game greatest players. He was also the co-author (with Mark Gately) of The People Game, a history of Australia in one-day international cricket.
